Book Circles


Rather than a traditional read and report...I thought we could have meaningful, interactive, small & large group discussions about some great books that pertain to our curriculum! The goal is to introduce you to cultures and ideas outside of your comfort zone. You may select a book that either focuses on introducing you to a different culture or global idea OR focuses on the ability of an individual to bring about change. Your books must take you to different regions of the world, and may not be books you've read in an English course previously. I encourage you to seek out areas and events in which you have a genuine interest. The books below are only suggestions, you're welcome to look beyond this list.
